Are your lists sortable by geography?

Yes, we can create custom lists based on a geographical sort in a variety of ways.  The parameters we can work from, which will need to be supplied by the client, are: state, city, zip code range, or area code.  We can also pull a set of records based on a given city and a radius in miles from that city center (e.g all records in Denver and within a 50 mile radius from Denver).

Do you track where the next show will be held?

Yes!  We have the next location and the next show date available on most of the shows in our database.  The next location will be identified by city, not facility (i.e "Las Vegas", or "Chicago").  The next show date will be the first day of the event opening (i.e. 5/1/2006).

May we rent an e-mail only list?          

Yes!  As of January 1, 2004, clients who wish to market to our database of 200,000+ e-mail addresses may do so, as long as they comply with the CAN-SPAM federal legislation. When our marketers are updating each record by phone, we are collecting the contact name and title of the decision maker on trade shows.  As part of our update process, we ask for the company web address, and the e-mail address of the contact or a general company e-mail address.   E-mail addresses are included in complete records, and when a digital file is rented from Exhibitrac we will include the e-mail address when available.  It is the clients responsibility to comply with all existing laws governing e-mail communications.  See our pricing page for information on this option.

How often do you update your lists?

Most records are updated on an annual basis. Unless the client specifically requests that we include older records, any custom count will only include those records which have been phone verified within the past 12 months.

Are your digital files compatible with ACT?

Our digital files are saved in three common formats: ASCII text, comma delimited, database (.dbf), or Excel (.xls).  These are compatible with a wide variety of contact managers, spreadsheets, word processing programs and database management programs- including ACT.   If you are reasonably familiar with how to import information into your particular program, then working with our digital files is a snap.

May we rent a list for marketing by fax ?

Faxing an unsolicited advertisement to a business or consumer with whom you have no prior business relationship is illegal under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.

Exhibitrac, in our quest to provide as much possible pertinent data as possible on exhibiting companies for our clients, captures fax numbers in roughly 99% of our database.  However, we always recommend, prior to faxing, that our clients first establish contact with a potential prospect via another way, to remain within the letter of the law.
